Matchday Retail Assistant

Employment Term: Casual
Report to: Retail Manager

Qualifications/Experience:
• Retail experience preferable
• Good customer care skills

Specific tasks: (this list is not exhaustive or exclusive)
• To have a proactive approach to serving customers in the shop
• Ensure all stock is displayed to the appropriate standard
• Ensure stock levels are maintained
• Till work
• To keep the shops fixtures and fittings clean
• To keep the till point clean and tidy
• When necessary act as the shops representative in corporate areas
• Be able to work as part of a team or independently
• Efficient time keeping

Job Description: Worcester Valkyries are looking to recruit a qualified Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist to join their medical team for the 2017/18 Tyrrells Women's Premier 15s season. We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic person to join our medical team, to support the Head Physiotherapist in delivering care. This will including acute injury assessment and high-level rehabilitation to the Worcester Valkyries squad on Tuesday and Thursday evening training sessions at Sixways, as well as assisting with the provision of matchday cover, mainly on a Sunday.

Food Service Assistant - Matchdays and events

Worcester Warriors are seeking experienced, enthusiastic and reliable individuals to help deliver the event experience at Sixways Stadium. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Catering Team in a prestigious event location.

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, passionate about people, have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service.

Main duties include:

• Serve customers food and drinks.
• Ensure a high standard of service and customer care is delivered at all times
• Ensure catering outlets are kept tidy, organised and fully stocked
• Operate cash register
• Deliver a prompt and efficient service
• Ensure all procedures and policies relating to health and safety are adhered to including hygiene standards

Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience in similar role and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

Shifts are arranged on an ad-hoc basis. Shifts will be between four and eight hours long, depending on the business needs.

Event Chef - Matchdays and events

As part of the Hospitality Team you will be serving food to customers, keeping the work area clean and tidy, cleaning and polishing cutlery and occasionally setting up and clearing down the venue. Stewards

This is an excellent opportunity to work somewhere with an amazing atmosphere and energetic feel. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, passionate about people, have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service.

You will be working with an experienced team and main duties will include:

• Welcoming and assisting visitors upon arrival
• Checking tickets and passes
• Undertake pre-match and post-match stand checks
• Dealing with customer queries in a confident and friendly manner
• Constantly monitoring the spectators in your area
• Ensure exit and evacuation routes are kept clear at all times
• Report immediately any damage or defect, suspect package or fire risk which is likely to pose a threat or danger to spectator safety

Minimum level 2 in Spectator Safety is preferred, however full training will be provided.

You must have an excellent level of spoken and written English.

Please note this position is for those aged 18 and over.
